Standing at the edge, I could see the South Rim, its colors hazy and blued in the far distance. Gazing below, I gasped at the canyon's depth, its floor a mile below, its colors a grey brown. The colors of the nearby rock formations showed off their oranges, reds, and yellows, even when shaded.
